The English Open Chainsaw Competition.First held in 2004 on Her Majesties the Queens Home Estate, Sandringham. Not only was it the first time in England that so many carvers had come together at one event but also featured carvers on an international scale, from as far as the U.S.A, Japan, Germany, Australia and of course representitives from the UK and Ireland.
In the U.S.A where chainsaw carving events are popular, with many competitions and gatherings running for a number of years with as many as 200 carvers. Living Heritage exceeded all expectations of its American counterparts. Living Heritages expertise of 20 years Show Organisation and Experience combined with the Chainsaw Competition Knowledge of the UK's leading international, Dennis Heath proved a successful combination. In 2007 the event has been moved for the first time to Tatton Park, Manchester. It has been introduced to the already successful Tatton Park Country Show, held on August 25th / 26th & 27th, 2007.
