Carolyn Taylor Paint and textile canvas pictures
I create contempoary and original art using a combination of paint and textile mediums. I take my inspiration from nature focusing on colour, texture and form overall, rather than producing a realistic represention. My creative style reflects my love of raising the surface and playing with materials and techniques. Which means i manage to embody painting, printing, stitching, patching and layering. This element of play means i can allow the creative process tp predict the outcome of the picture.
