Stephen Middleton Reclaimed Timber Mirrors
All of my mirrors are hand made in my dusty workshops using reclaimed timber from a variety of interesting sources. These include Georgian Wall panelling, Stable doors, Farmhouse doors, Hay feeders, Pub bars, Tannery floors and doors, Old farm machines and carts. suitcases etc.
All materials are thoroughly cleaned, treated and hand waxed using natural coloured beeswax polish. As all of the mirrors are individual, mirrors are made to suit the timbers, hence no two mirrors are the same. Many of the mirroe frames retain their original fitments, handles, hinges, bolts, etc. Frames can be made to order.
